If you would like to try out our game you can download the game from the image above.
As this game is a multiplayer game designed around LAN networks we used LogMeIn Hamachi to emulate a LAN networkfor testability, but it should be fine if your using the same network inferstructure
As it is a winrar folder make sure you have winrar installed and as long as you extract the data and .exe to desktop you'll be ready to go, its also advised that
you extract the files to the two different machines and then connect to the hosts machine.
Install to two machines and make sure you connect to the hosts IP to start, once in you'll be given a choice between two sides so select and the game shall begin.
Things needed to Play:
- Keyboard
- Mice
- Windows Machine with a reasonable specifcation (anything that can handle DX9 will do as its built for low end systems in mind).
- Winrar
My Responsibilities: For this project I was the 3D artist lead for the project, setting not only the art style but also setting poly counts throughout the project, as our target spec was lower end PC's systems we decided from an early stage that we wanted to design it with this in mind. my secondary role for this was as QA Lead for testing, as the game was multiplayer we needed to test not only networking but also game play, feedback was extensive and it allowed us to gain insights into our gameplay mechanics and how we could implement changes to our over all game.
The Video above goes into further detail of my process thoughout the project and is made as an evauation for the entire project and the team I worked with.
